Data Deletion Instructions

Effective Date: May 10, 2025

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from Brocoly at any time. Some data may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., tax records).

Option 1: Delete via App

You can delete your account directly from within the Brocoly app:

  • Step 1 Open the Brocoly app and log in
  • Step 2 Go to Profile / Account Settings
  • Step 3 Tap 'Delete Account'
  • Step 4 Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request by email to support@brocoly.in[cite: 13, 14]. Include your registered email address or phone number, and your Meal Provider name/code. We will confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

Deleted (within 30 days):

  • Full name, email address, phone number
  • Delivery addresses, Dietary preferences and restrictions [cite: 21, 22]
  • Meal selections and subscription data

What We Retain (Legal Requirement)

Certain data must be retained under Indian law. Transaction Records Order amounts and payment records retained for 7 years under GST Act and Income Tax Act. This retained data is anonymized wherever possible and is not used for marketing or profiling.
