Data Deletion Instructions
Effective Date: May 10, 2025You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from Brocoly at any time. Some data may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., tax records).
Option 1: Delete via App
You can delete your account directly from within the Brocoly app:
- Step 1 Open the Brocoly app and log in
- Step 2 Go to Profile / Account Settings
- Step 3 Tap 'Delete Account'
- Step 4 Confirm the deletion when prompted
Your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.
Option 2: Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request by email to support@brocoly.in[cite: 13, 14]. Include your registered email address or phone number, and your Meal Provider name/code. We will confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
Deleted (within 30 days):
- Full name, email address, phone number
- Delivery addresses, Dietary preferences and restrictions [cite: 21, 22]
- Meal selections and subscription data
What We Retain (Legal Requirement)
Certain data must be retained under Indian law. Transaction Records Order amounts and payment records retained for 7 years under GST Act and Income Tax Act. This retained data is anonymized wherever possible and is not used for marketing or profiling.
